When you visit The Strawberry Patch enjoy the beauty of our public gardens. The Strawberry Patch is surrounded by a variety of gardens for the different seasons. In the spring, the field to the east of The Strawberry Patch and next to the Catholic Church is filled with thousands of yellow daffodils and a stream of blue muscari. In early May several hundred Dalhias are potted-up in our greenhouses. In late May the Wisteria arbor, at the entrance to the Arborvitae maze, is full of fragrant blue blossoms. By mid-June the Dalhias are ready for planting; they bloom in July in a plethera of brillian colors along with the orange blossoms of the enormous Trumpet Vine, which covers the back of the Strawberry Patch house. The Artic Daisies come into bloom before Columbus Day. The Garden Maze is a delight for young and old. Visit it on the way to the Garden Railroad, but don’t get lost.
