The Christmas Mug celebrates Christmas time at the Brewster Store when the old-fashioned lighted Christmas tree sits atop the porch roof and the entire store is decorated for this festive season. On the Friday night before Christmas, hundreds of local residents and visitors gather outside the store to sing Christmas carols, led by Gordon Brooks, a local musician. Afterwards, the store is opened and Christmas cookies and hot cider are served to all. Come join us if you are in Brewster on this special night—December 15, 2006.
